ADVANCED LEVEL CERTIFICATION

PREPARATION WORKSHOP

April 27-29, 2017

Presented by Sandy Webster, PATH Intl. Master Instructor

at Heartland Therapeutic Riding

19655 Antioch Rd., Bucyrus, KS, 66013 (Kansas City Metro Area)

3 days of Comprehensive Advanced Level Instruction and Hands-On Learning

MOCK CANDIDATES (Fee: $400) Register Early - Space is Very Limited

Participants will be provided with an in-depth overview of the criteria for the successful PATH Intl Advanced Instructor and the expected certification process. The workshop will cover all topics related to the PATH Intl Advanced Instructor certification including live examples of lessons at the advanced level, lunging techniques, stable management, horse assessment, lesson planning and the written exam. Candidates will be given the opportunity to be “assessed for readiness” during their riding, stable management, lunging and teaching of both riders with disabilities and typical riders.

The course includes the opportunity to have constant praise and feedback related to the areas of testing without the pressure of the test. The candidates will be given the tools to do their own S.W.O.T. analysis with regards to their “readiness to test”. The candidate’s self –analysis and S.W.O.T. analysis is then assessed by Sandy whereby a strategic plan is developed for each individual candidate.

PARTICIPANTS/AUDITORS (Fee: $300)

By auditing this workshop, participants will be taught the criteria needed to start the preparation process towards advanced certification. Auditors will also have the opportunity to participate in all classroom and field educational components, engage in group discussions, receive a mock written exam and observe mock lessons.

The knowledge obtained in this workshop will give every instructor the tools to “Raise the Bar” in their own teaching, riding and horsemanship whether they are planning on preparing for the Advanced Instructor certification or not.
